Cons
I advise anyone to avoid this company, ALLStem, specifically their engineering group. Within my thankfully short stint, I witnessed workplace mobbing, extreme favoritism, an overall flawed agency system, unfairness and retaliation to teammates, lack of training and support, and questionable practices, I.e placements earned by one individual given to different recruiter who’s favored, which creates hostile a work environment and poor team culture. I had the displeasure of working under a covert narcissist who took pleasure in condescending those below him, not offering any real training or direction and extreme pressure beginning week 1 to “pay for my seat” and make an immediate impact to the business, despite C- clients, no effective business development, no viable requisitions and the team being 300% in the negative and not profiting as is. There is absolutely no vision, structure or mission; (Depending on the team) those in “Director” roles are just glorified recruiters with tenure, who possibly have no business leading teams or directing anything. This was hands-down the worst experience I’ve had professionally and I strongly advise against turning down other offers to work here. You will only be provided reqs if you’re favored, and if you are personally disliked or speak up for equality, they will PIP, then terminate you. I cannot even begin to rationalize how this organization must operate on the wider scale, but can understand why they are failing. So many red flags. I was given a PC and told I would have to “work my way up” to a laptop (completely unheard of) wfh work, but no flexibility to work beyond your home desk. You will also only accrue about 5 PTO days a year. The person who hired me lied/withheld information about so many things. Now they are outsourcing most of their work offshore to avoid paying reasonable/US market salaries; Not a place for anyone looking for an actual career.
