Pros
Great people to work with, my team manager was amazing and went the extra mile to make sure the team was ok. If you sell many policies you’d make a decent amount of commission on top of your salary.
Cons
Monotonous work, got to read from a script word for word sounding like a robot majority of the time. No opportunity for progression unless you’re a teachers pet for over a year then you might be lucky enough to get a sniff at anything, and that’s if they haven’t already hired someone else externally for a managerial role, who also has no clue what they’re doing. Good luck trying to find out what shifts you’re on for the following month as they usually they get released a few days before hand leaving you clueless to know what days/hours you’re meant to be working - on top of this also good luck with trying to book off any holiday as the planning team like to take a very long time to get back to you just to say that there’s too many people off at once. The upper management also like to make updates to a system that completely breaks everything, and it’s still your fault if you’re not on the phone selling. Promised to fund the CII qualifications, still waiting a a year later. Also minimum wage.
