A lot of the people who work for AOS are very much in it for themselves and unwilling to help. All the responses to these reviews are marketing babble and lip service. The one about work/life balance being a high priority is not even close to true in my experience with the company. Lots of red tape to jump through when quoting. Quote process takes forever. All sales support resources are stressed beyond their max because they're so over-burdened. I was laid off by AOS when they backed out of Texas and the two HR people performing the task were chipper about it. Board chairmen looked at the TX office via video conference and smiled and waived (used the wrong spelling of wave, but it fits--leaving it). Working here was such a stressful experience. Non-compete is ruthless and should be illegal. They have gone after people in the most ruthless, childish of ways. It's really quite disgusting--people with kids who need to work in the only industry they know. You do not, no-way-no-how, want to work here.
