Pros
You work with some great, intelligent people that create generally a good work environment.
Cons
The company will do anything possible to screw over its employees. Drastic unannounced pay cuts, forced movement to different departments or shifts, complete shifts in manufacturing culture with poor long term thought put into any decision. Complete disregard by upper management to connect with the employees that make them look good. Lack of actual concern for safety of employees despite a "Safety first mentality." I could go on and on about little things and decisions made by those in charge that push the employees actually doing all the actually work as far as possible to quitting or becoming disillusioned with their work. If you are thinking of joining manufacturing team, don't. Find another company in a better area that actually pays what their employees are worth and treats them with respect.
