Pros

The people! I was there almost 4 years, and I can honestly say it was the people that made the place a great place to be. Flexibility with working hours and being able to work from home and office. 30 days holidays!

Cons

Lack of Career Progression Pay is terrible and below market rate New CEO and Senior Management are cold and not approachable. Lack of communication and direction from the SLT. Made redundancies and internal restructure, which directly affected team members and workloads In a negative way. Understaffed and overworked and not compensated for this. Certain managers are micro managing, even though they have no clue how to do the job! Pay Rises were minuscule!

Pros

Colleagues below senior leadership are genuinely great to work with. The business is full of talented people, including some of the smartest professionals I've had the pleasure of working alongside.

Cons

**Cons** Poor management and ineffective senior leadership. The business has been through repeated rounds of redundancies, resulting in low morale, uncertainty and a culture where employees struggle to feel secure in their roles. Communication from leadership was often lacking, particularly during periods of significant change, leaving many employees feeling undervalued and unsupported. From my experience, I would think carefully before joining unless you're comfortable with the possibility of restructuring and limited job security. The direction of the business did not inspire confidence. I was also aware of reports that employees were encouraged to leave positive reviews on this platform, which, if accurate, raises questions about how representative the overall ratings are.

Pros

None. Abysmal senior leadership. Zero care or empathy for it's employees.

Cons

Employees are treated like numbers on a spreadsheet not human beings. Aldermore pretends to be a great place to work when in actuality it just doesn't care about its people, their welfare or mental health. Do not even consider working here, it is a rapidly sinking ship.
