Great Team-Oriented Startup - Engineer Airgility Employee Review

Had freedom to explore many different ways of implementing particular UI functions, given direction and tips from mentors and superiors but was a huge learning opportunity to be able to research and learn methods on my own. Team is really passionate about the goals for the company and makes it easy to motivate and stay on track with deadlines that would come up. Dipam as a mentor was always there to help yet still gave the space and freedom for me to figure out things on my own.

As startups go, sometimes there would be rapid deadlines for demos and events requiring some weeks to have much longer hours than others. There are also lots of changes in requirements so would require scrapping certain methods of implementation and completely re-doing them.

I truly enjoyed working for Airgility. We had a small team working together in the office so I really got to know and work alongside everyone at some point. Being able to work on a project from start to finish, working on all aspects of the project and being able to learn hands on skills was invaluable as an intern. I was able to develop a design and manufacturing skill set that I can appreciate and use wherever I work in the future.

The only downside I could think of would be the fact that many of the engineering employees were students, so the presence in the office was very fluid and occasionally made coordination difficult.
