Pros

The use of specialty gases.

Cons

Despite the current state of the Coronavirus Pandemic that the nation is experiencing, Airgas has no integrity, nor respect for their employees. They'd rather have their employees come in and risk their health than to allow them to work from home. The government provided clear instructions to wash hands, stay home and dont socially involve yourself with parties more than 10 people, yet employees are stuck in an office for 8 hours or more in open spaces with hundreds of people. Employees, their health and their well being means absolutely nothing to Airgas.

Airgas Response
6y
Safety comes first at Airgas, and we’re continuing to prioritize the safety of our customers, associates and the communities we serve during our COVID-19 response. Because our business touches so many critical aspects of the U.S. supply chain - from healthcare and pharmaceuticals, to food production, water treatment, power and energy, to name a few - Airgas has been listed as an essential supplier by multiple federal agencies. We've modified our daily work to keep associates safe and have implemented social distancing, visitor and travel restrictions and work separation approaches, including splitting teams into separate shifts, providing PPE for our front line associates, and shifting to a work from home mode when possible. Our associates and their loved ones' well-being are the lifeblood of the Airgas family, which has prompted us to make swift changes to help protect, cover and care for them during this troubling time. Please contact your manager and/or HR representative to discuss any questions or concerns.
