Pros

You really feel like you're part of something special, the product is amazing. Most of the 'lower down' employees are so lovely, friendly and willing to get stuck in and work together.

Cons

Micro management from the top down. Unable to let anyone have control of anything. Chasing money and not ensuring the company have the infrastructure to actually do the work. Happy to watch employees drown in work and their mental health decline with very little care. Even when employees have reached out for help there is very little support. Were told 'they' disliked that the team were friends, kept pushing us to come in, do the work, say nothing and go home. Any opinions or offer of help with internal events, team building, moral boosters etc (due to a large number of isolated working) was shot down. Even to the point were they disbanded the team doing the work. Such a shame considering there were so many of us willing to help. So many members of staff brought in and then gotten rid of 'quietly' with no explanation, seems like anyone who wanted to make real good change or had stand out opinions are just told/asked/made to leave with no real explanation to any of the staff making it a really uneasy and anxious place to work. It used to be a wonderful place to work with a lively atmosphere, friendly faces, events and a real give back attitude. After the COO came on board they've just stripped the place bare of any enjoyment, morale and a healthy environment. This coupled with the fact that the company's values are now a joke and non-existent it's been a real shame to see the company go downhill so fast and I would not recommend anyone to work here.

Pros

Remote working flexibility and a purpose led mission.

Cons

In my experience, there was very little transparency between senior leadership and middle/lower management. Communication around business objectives often felt unclear beyond a general focus on growing the customer base. It felt frustrating that a town hall centred on “clarity” contrasted with the lack of communication many employees experienced day to day. Feedback, priorities and performance related discussions did not always seem clearly shared beyond our teams, which left people unsure of expectations or direction and ultimately undervalued. There were opportunities to improve processes and focus areas and staff regularly suggested ideas, but many initiatives were paused during an audit period, which created uncertainty amongst our team. Overall, I often felt left in the dark and wish I had paid closer attention to similar concerns raised in these reviews before joining.

Pros

Excellent people work here. There are some exceptionally talented individuals. Most people are open to change, and want to make a difference. Remote working.

Cons

I feel let down by Airbox. As other reviews have alluded to, the culture is poor and any momentum to change this is shot down. Human, people first decisions is something I am passionate about, and there is no space for this at Airbox. I left a stable, respected position to make a difference. My knowledge and skills are excellent in my field. They were not listened to or trusted.
