Pros
There are smart and cool people to work with in the company, but they are leaving in droves in the past few months. Good place to become a SQL guru, everything is done in SQL including all the business logic. - 7.5 hours work day - Fruits or snacks (only on certain days) - Good views out the windows (needed to reflect on the poor choice I've made on joining this company) - 2 days working from home (the days are fixed on a roster)
Cons
At of 2021, the company value their financial above all else. Maybe it was good few years ago, but definitely not now. Mass exodus in the past few months, averaging two resignations a week. They never addressed any of the employee's concerns, just words with empty promises. No real incentive to retain employees, they always talk about potential rewards with heavy emphasis that the reward is non monetary. Outdated technology stack, with no intention to innovate. Demonstrated by down sizing the team whose working on the newer product. Experienced employees are leaving so fast that some systems are becoming a black box, with no one left that knows how that system work. If you're a new stater, prepare to learn a legacy system with no senior guidance. - Salaries are below market rates - Employees are tracked on their monthly billable hours - Tone deaf management and CEO, prepare to sit through awkward company meeting monthly. - No training or any personal development - Cheapest possible solution, sometime even against industry standard.
