Pros
The people were incredible - they know how to hire top talent and genuinely kind individuals. I’m not sure I’ll ever work alongside such a great group of people again. The benefits are also to be of note.
Cons
I had a great time working there at first but everything after that first year honeymoon period was terrible. Very frustrating experience because I would’ve stayed for years longer before it all went downhill. Management was not equipped for the growth they experienced and failed to listen and react when most employees were miserable, burnt out, overworked, etc. They either fired the people who were vocal about problems within the company or made their working environment so poor and unbelievably negative that they quit. Taking time off was a juggling act and you almost felt better off not leaving rather than coming back to angry customers and a boat load more work since no one had the time or capacity to cover you/your work. Raises and promotions weren’t necessarily based off of merit and the requirements for each level up were constantly shifting and too fluid for any of us to keep up with. There is absolutely zero consistency on this front. Take it from me : you know it’s bad when the only positive thing you can say about the job is that they have snacks in the office… Leaving was by far the best thing to happen to me this year.
