Pros

Fun sometimes. But I'd trade occasional fun for a livable wage and decent insurance. You will get a headstart on working the job of 3 people for basically minimum wage, though if that's your thing.

Cons

Horrible management, horrible insurance, horrible pay. I left to get a better job and never looked back. I'm only writing this because I get the Glassdoor company updates in my email and saw the saccharine reviews posted by current employees. Blech. Do your research. Ladies beware, it sometimes feels like a boys club. There are way better places out there.

Appreciate the honest feedback! Update: we are always looking for better health insurance options. Based on your employment date, you will remember one of our clients is the top healthcare and benefits advisory groups in Dallas. In 2015, Agency Entourage increased it's "spend" on employee health benefits by over 50%! This resulted in flat (or slightly lower) premiums for most employees, in a year that would otherwise have resulted in dramatic increases across the board. We also lowered most deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums. We will continue to aggressively evaluate our options every year. We are committed to providing our employees with the very best choices available.

Pros

The culture at AE is similar to most digital agencies in the industry. The work life balance here is exactly that. Most employees work very diligently throughout the day, while the afternoons can be a time of laughter and unwinding. One of the best things about this company is the events. Social Media Day, Fair Day, Rangers Games, Breakfast Club, SXSW, Client Galas, Awards Ceremonies and more! This group definitely has the social networking type persona embedded in their blood, so it's good to keep in mind that the workflow can be intense at times, but the management always comes through with rewarding experiences. The second best thing about AE, is the opportunity to learn so much. It doesn't matter what your speciality is, you will leave with an all around knowledge of Analytics, SEO, Design, Web Dev, Social Media and how to build a great client relationship, when you apply yourself. If you don't have the go-getter, proactive type attitude, this may not be a place for you! The continued learning experience is also something the company supports through expos to help you build your individual skill set.

Cons

We work in an open space. It can get noisy, but you just have to plug-in. It definitely requires some discipline to zone out and get the work done.
