Pros
I learned to trust my gut a lot more and left with strong friendships and working relationships with handfuls of talented, honest, hardworking people.
Cons
The Affinity Worldwide Executive team was either insanely irrational and/or massively inexperienced in their role and was presenting (for lack of a better word) to employees as if they knew what they were doing. The inefficiencies that existed at the executive level would be shocking to any person who has ever worked in a professional environment. Low-performing entities/companies would be prioritized and teams of talented creative people within the marketing agency attached to the enterprise would spend their days working on "brands" that had no future other than an overzealous & impractical vision pieced together with buzzwords. Not to mention the person selling the vision grossly exaggerated his past experiences.
The biggest red flag to anyone reading this review that might've previously been employed with AWW or AEG should have been the ridiculous e-mails that were sent company-wide to employees by the CEO. They sometimes inappropriate and were 100% ALWAYS a waste of time to read. Also, many people were aware of the degrading manner in which he would speak to employees - specifically women. Disheartening and unmotivating.
I could continue describing hundreds of examples of red flags, but then this review would just be paragraphs of rambles... and I've seen enough of that in my time at Affinity Worldwide to last a lifetime.
Also wanted to note that the only positive review left on this Glassdoor account is fake. It looks like a robot wrote it.
