Pros

There are no pros to this company.

Cons

Don’t make a big sale within the 90 day trial period. Don’t sign the non compete they demand you sign. High turnover rate. Didn’t realize shady companies like this actually operated in this day and age but they do at Aerobase Group. Lots of empty promises and underhanded practices.

I'm not sure who the former employee is that wrote this - but let me clarify. We actually have a 90 day probationary period - with the purpose of training for 2 weeks, learning the business, and becoming acclimated to a new career. We definitely DO NOT require or even expect a "big sale" in the first 90 days. That's nonsense. In addition, our turnover rate is extremely low. We've hired approximately 45 people over the past 3 years and only 6 of them are not with us any longer - and 2 of them simply had to move across the country and couldn't work for us any longer. We take special care to have an environment people enjoy working in every day and seek to promote the best people. We've had two group functions in just the past month with employees and their significant others to show our appreciation. Nothing we do is "shady" and we do not make empty promises or engage in underhanded practices. I suppose an ex employee may be a little upset for one reason or another but not knowing his or her situation, I can't really address specifics regarding that. The simple truth is, if I was looking for a fun job with limitless potential, growth and a great environment - this is the company I'd be searching for.

Pros

PTO, they pay for your full healthcare, co workers are cool, no weekends.

Cons

In the interview you will be asked if you can use basic tools like screwdrivers and hammers. In reality you will use saws, power tools, and drill sheet metal with almost no training on using the tools or PPE required when shelves need built or relocted. You will work at heights in a scissor lift and operate a forklift. Alot of this other than forklift is not in the job description (unless this makes them update it) . You will sometimes work with hazardous material and very heavy freight well above 50lbs. I accepted $18/hr thinking this was a Warehouse Shipping position boxing up packages, if I would have known about everything else I wouldn't have accepted this position for only $18/hr. You will also deal with customers and sales people through e-mail and phone calls so there ends up being more responsibility than they initially let on. Hours are great 8:30am-5:30pm with an hour lunch, no overtime required and coworkers are nice and while management are also very nice don't really run the warehouse area well as it is very messy and unorganized. None of my coworkers have even been here a year, everyone seems to leave after 6 Months due to all the unexpected responsibilies you have for the pay they offer.
