Pros
Friendly colleagues with good intentions. Some of the senior staff were really smart, honest, and open to one off calls/chats. Product concept is pretty good for niche markets.
Cons
Full disclosure. I did not work here more than a year so obviously keep this mind. I have however worked in the High Tech Industry for many years at only a couple other orgs and know what does or doesn't work. Yes, it's true. End of day "business development meetings" (my interpretation) from 5 until at least 6 PM four times a week. Because that's when people can put ideas into action?! Not a "SMART" solution to brain storming. That's reason enough to realize this job wasn't gonna last long. Not well managed (obviously - see above), very inexperienced managers/team leads with little to no training or understanding of employee management. Sales agnostic. Management really doesn't get sales and is constantly reinventing how they acquire customers. Hard to believe in my short tenure the massive shifts in "strategy". They slowly fired the entire sales org because they weren't productive. Of course there were no Managers to be found, the ones who could have steered sales and put a fire under them to get more business. It wasn't for lack of potential sales opportunities. There was also no visible increases in marketing spend to drive traction in the market. It appeared their plan was to run the business thru a one man Partner Org.
