I do have to say, I enjoyed the freedom that AWC gave the Field technician’s to make their own travel arrangements at first! That is no longer the case and I’m glad I don’t work for them anymore.
Cons
This company cannot get the materials’ orders, cable and hardware and cabinet orders to the Technicians on site EVER. There is always some crucial materials missing/forgotten/ or not even in the original or final quote. So the Technician on-site has to problem solve and resolve the issue and with no appreciation or assistance. I was terminated (extremely unexpectedly) for “falsifying hours on my time log”. That being said, the week in question was a complete cluster-bomb-anation for both Field technician’s on site in Portland, OR and 1 of the 2 different platforms that we had to log our hours worked into was completely down without access. So frustrating to have just gotten financially stabilized again and then to be told Friday for lunch I was terminated for falsifying hours and they had a Lift waiting in parking lot to take me to airport! Really trashy and unprofessional behavior. Company is too small for how big they’re trying to act like they are.
