      Pros

      Seems stable, pay is decent. Keep in mind that the pros/cons are highly dependent on which team/company you are contracted out to. Benefits are decent, but you still feel like a 2nd class worker compared to the real full time employees you work with.

      Cons

      Used by big tech companies to get around offering Silicon Valley benefits to employees in non-tech roles. The client is the real boss. Interaction with ASG personnel is minimal, they are often not plugged in to what is happening, powerless and clueless. Limited vacation time, no 401k matching, 401k company has high fees (please switch to Vanguard!)

      Not competitive. Everyone helps each other. Lots of professional and personal growth. Cutting edge technology.

      Cons

      No real cons. Employer doesn't contribute to 401k.
