Pros
As a small company with under 50 employees, there was the sense, fostered by the Executive Management Team, that the company would treat the employees as equal stake holders in the overall company's growth and success.
Cons
Unfortunately, the company was heavily dependent upon U.S. government agency contract work, which in turn, was dependent on budgetary approval of the U.S. Congress. As a government subcontractor, it proved to be to difficult to apply a narrow R&D sector work into a practical commercial business application or product.
