Pros

Lasting relationships with employees. Technical employees have true talent that you can learn from.

Cons

Most unethical ownership and management I have ever seen. Sells customers used products as new. Promises employees goal based benefits (profit sharing, etc.) and never follow through. No employee reviews, which also means no chance for increase in compensation. High turnover as nobody likes being exposed to sexist, racist, degrading slurs from ownership.

Pros

Seems they are flexible with remote workers, a little less with the Buffalo office. Nice breakroom that is usually stocked with fruits and coffee. The pay isn't bad. Flexible with personal things that come up. Mini-gym in the office. Friendly co-workers who help with the onboarding and scant moral.

Cons

Well, the benefits are a joke, such a laugh to say you support your staff like your own family, but the health and human benefits don't reflect that. The office seems pretty vacant or dead, lots of space here and empty desks. The cubicles and computer equipment look second-hand too, like they were from an auction, no standardization. Half the office space is empty. The CEO seems cheap, no standard office apps here, and begrudgingly uses Outlook. Lots of weird apps and homemade solutions that are tricky to learn in a few weeks' time. Some of the backend is a mix of standard stuff, but most of it isn't, so don't think you'll learn anything here that you can take to your next gig. The CEO is also hyper-focused on a new topic each day, ADD to an extreme, repeats his life story and career on every call I've been on. Also, he seems to spend a lot of time in Florida. Lots of outsourced support overseas. Not recommended, already looking for the next job.
