-just about everything
-upper management including C level and execs are some of the most clueless individuals I ever came across. They think things are the way they were when they started the company and that you can just hop on the phone these days and people will gladly just give you their business. Then they "show" you how it's done, they call a client up, drop their C level or Executive level title in the convo which obviously makes the prospect way more comfortable.
- Expectations are absurd. It's never enough for these people. You can be a top biller in office, but no no no, you didn't make enough phone calls this week! Shut up. I'm making you money
- So beyond cut throat. Nobody on the teams are there to actually help you. Everyone is out for themselves.
- DRAMA. People are constantly in each others business (personal and professional).
- Bro Culture / Heard plenty of racism and biases toward candidates
- Extremely unsupportive admin staff
- HQ is in Chicago so unless you're in that office, you have no HR, minimal guidance from management, and absolute chaos
- Insane amount of office turnover
- Aside from going from recruiter to BDM, there is next to no growth opportunity after that. Better pray that a branch manager leaves if you plan on advancing further (which is common)
