Pros

SOME of the employees and some of the physicians were great

Cons

Horrible ophthalmic care, discrimination and lies from management. Management with no medical expertise instead they hire people with sales background. You are forced to make phone calls to patients and try and force them to come in for an appointment, but only if they had an insurance that paid and was not a capitated HMO. If you did not get patients to come in you were treated horribly by managment. There were bribes and rewards for whichever office had the most non HMO patients to schedule appointments. I knew this place didn't care about the patient at all and the recent settlement with the department of justice confirmed what I was experiencing. Very sad for our senior citizens who have no other choice as to where they go for their ophthalmology needs

Pros

There are no pros to list.

Cons

The environment is driven by fear and intimidation, spearheaded by the COO. There is a total absence of accountability, meaningful support, or consistent communication from senior leadership. Employees are regularly tasked with responsibilities far outside their job descriptions. There is no acknowledgment of this additional workload, nor is there any incentive or compensation for taking on these extra duties. The company struggles to retain talent, particularly in executive positions. The high turnover rate at the top is a clear indicator of systemic issues within the management team.
