Pros
Some pros working here: get to play games for free, if you're full-time time the benefits are decent, overtime and holiday pay, you gain new skills.
Cons
Cons of working here: everyone gossips and excludes you, HR does not take anything you say seriously, it became difficult to balance my work/personal life because I was doing lots of doubles, upper management makes their own decisions without letting anyone in-store know, there was no room for growth, HR (specifically Stephanie Rurak) is ableist, micromanaging, some of the other team leads talk down to game facilitators, time off requests denied constantly, you're not an asset of this company but more so something that can be replaced whenever they want to, the CEO Adam is a man-child, they don't care to give their employees proper training, the job description vs tasks I had to do were completely different, this company does not take workplace harassment seriously - I became a victim of stalking and harassment and they did not care, unfair treatment, upper management will take the side of the customers even if you did nothing wrong.
