Pros
Mission driven, lots of people working towards a collective goal, working to be progressive and give students the education they deserve regardless of zip code, lots of opportunities for teacher development and ability to advance career (management opportunities or opportunities at network)
Cons
Super draining, long hours (7am-4pm), some "bad apples"/teachers who do not model best behavior for students, discipline policies, unrealistic expectations for body posture for small children for long amounts of time, not a lot of free play time for kids or time to socialize, a lot of yelling at kids...my experience varied year over year, but the last year really took a lot out of me
