Pros
1. Work Life Balance is amazing 2. The culture of the organisation is generally very good 3. There are significant opportunities to travel abroad. Most travel is to North America and UK 4. Good opportunity to specialise in a particular industry of your choice
Cons
1. Accenture GTIN has recently been renamed at Accenture Capability Network. This has significant ly hampered the branding of this organisation. Outsiders now associate Accenture Capability Network to MCKC and Bain Capability Centre. Having worked here for a significant amount of time, I can tell you, quality of work at accenture GTIN is generally better than some of its back office competitors. 2. GTIN has two career tracks : the GC-MC track (hires from IIM, ISB, XLRI etc) and SLO track (hires from IT companies, KPO's and industries). Whilst there is a clear salary differentiation amongst the two tracks, people from both the tracks end up doing similar type of work. 3. The quality of work at GTIN is generally very average. A lot of work revolves around business transformation, IT implementation and Process Improvement. The focus of the top management is clearly on scaling up, achieving chargeability targets and the quality of work is not a consideration 4. Career growth in GTIN is much slower as compared to our peers in India Business. You may end up spending as much as 4 years at each level. My overall feedback is if you are joining GTIN directly from a top business school, you may want to re-consider your decision, as this is probably not a very good fit. Having said that, it is a good brand to be associated with early in your career
