Cons
1. Old employees are preferred in Salary hikes and promotions. 2. Once you enter in Accenture, you wont get good salary hike for next couple of years even if you are top performer. You will be given reasons like- 'Your salary is already in higher slab and have employees who much less paid than you, So in order to maintain balance, we cannot give you more hike.. ' In last 4 years, despite of getting top rating, I was never given more than 4% hike. 3. Promotions are next to impossible in Accenture. You will be kept on same level for 3-4 years without any promotions and low hikes. 4. Offices are at 3 different locations in Pune which are way far from each other. If you are released from one project, it is not guaranteed that you will get new project at same location. If you get project at different location, you will end up travelling 25-30 kms each day from your home.
