Pros

Good working environment. We get a lot to learn. One of the best cafeteria (moderately charged).

Cons

Your lead can make your life hell. (Specially for Associate Software Engineer) No appreciation for talent and good work. (You will get promoted only in their performance cycle of 1 year irrespective of the work you do. Doing a good job might improve your rating but will not get you a promotion) Politics in lot of projects. (Related to project budget hampering appraisals and promotions) Emphasis on completing work ASAP without looking for a better solution. No steps are taken even when a lot of people resign every month for better opportunity. 10 working hours. (1 hour more than normal) Emphasis on sitting 10hrs on office chair rather than the work you do.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
