Cons
Some partners in the strategy practice are mostly focused on their own career with little interest in their team members. With its complex and narrow-minded performance management system Accenture has created a culture of fear largely sustained by this leadership, holding back the potential of many employees on many front. This culture of fear not only slows the organisation and drives tremendous stress. Some senior managers and partners - particularly true for the sustainability strategy practice - are just not properly qualified and experience for the job. A self-centered and patronizing attitude and a general lack of clarity and coherence are just a few explanations for its poor results to date.
