Pros

Very good work environment Growth opportunities at your fingertips You bet a lot on the continuous improvement of both the processes and the employee They do not treat the person as a resource but as a vital part of the company Highly highlighted and prominent values It has a road map to guide The people who work there from the one who has just started to the one who is older are great people.

Cons

I can't think of any at the moment

Pros

My team at Abstracta treats me first as a human then an employee. There is a lot of potential for the company to grow and for employees to learn new things and try out their ideas. Leadership practically begs you to speak your mind at all times, they are so great at listening. Software will always be made, thus always have to be tested... so the need for the company's services is not going anywhere any time soon. I get to work and travel freely, as I work remote. We have international clients so there are exciting opportunities for travel in that way as well. The pay is great and so is the vacation policy. Everyone generally likes to spend time with one another and there are always bonding activities, cocktail hours, meetups we participate in, conferences, etc. The company's primary office is based in Uruguay, but our clients are in the US. So I as an American, got to live there for some time and then moved back to the US. Everyone speaks English, but I had the chance to improve my Spanish and enjoy the culture! In Uruguay, work life balance is much more respected, so when you're on vacation or it's the weekend, you'll never be expected to answer emails or anything (Unless it's an emergency!)

Cons

Not many that I can think of. The US office is still growing in terms of people and benefits are yet to come, but I can't wait to see where we're headed.
