The management really cares about you, the higher ups are very involved and check in to make sure everything is going well. The environment is fast paced and well organized.

The company is quickly growing, and they seem to be managing it well so far.

The firm's small size allows someone in this position to really apply him or herself wherever there's a fit in talent and needs. The firm operates in a complex industry to learn as an intern, but the team does a great job teaching interns how the industry works as well as where Abode fits in that industry. With all that considered, interning for Abode is a great way to work in a meaningful industry and gain exposure to a small firm in which what you learn correlates with the effort you put into the role.

The only con is that the role is not for everyone. Given the firm's young age, the position isn't formally structured. You are told your primary responsibilities, and it is up to you to determine how to go about completing them. If you need formal structure, you may find yourself stressed in this role. The lack of structure, however, ended up being a pro for me and likely would be for others.
