Cons
The entire work experience is con. But as that may vary from team to team lets be specific about working conditions and perks. Leave: 12 EL and 12 CL, you should get sick in these leaves as there are no sick leaves. There is no compensatory off, say you ended up working on a Sunday (which you will most of the time) then Monday is not off. It's your inefficiency that you could not complete your work on Saturday itself. There is no performance-related pay. The increment is less than the inflation rate. the management does not communicate. It spreads rumors and checks the responses. You will receive a Health insurance Policy with 1 lac from comp[any upgradable to 2 lac at your own expense and get the worst Health insurance which will get you into the general ward of a poor private hospital. There is no Flexi-timing, you need to reach the office by 9.05 am and if you are late 5 times half day CL will be deducted. if you do not have CLs then half day salary will be deducted. Most of the time you will end up working till 9 pm and sometimes even late. Forget that you have a family when working here. You will end up working on holidays and Sundays. Please note that 2nd and 4th Saturdays are holidays before joining here. There is no maternity benefit either if you are an employee who gave birth to a child you get 30k flat, if you are a wife of an employee, they give you 15k flat. Even if you are entitled to a higher class as per travel policy you will be sent by the worst mode possible in some cases. You get the least amount to survive and end up paying from your own pocket to meet expenses while traveling. Just imagine having to survive in Mumbai or Delhi for Rs. 800. A wonderful thing is it is called per diem. Yes, you need to manage all expenses in that Rs. 800 only o other allowances will be entertained. If you have a grievance it's your fault. There is no mechanism what-so-ever for that. The management will make sure you feel bad for even raising or discussing your problems.
