Coming from the HR team, can safely say that the culture and feedback from employees have become more negative in the last year ( 2025), also validated from other negative reviews of the Singapore Site.
The management is very opaque and top down and high handed in their dealings with the direct reports and this culture is further perpetuated. Blame is easily metered out and managers will not hesitate to put employees on performance improvement plans to protect themselves.
Accountability doesn’t exist at Manager/ Senior Manager levels across Asia to say the very least , and Ownership is always being pushed around and no one takes the lead, and the working level employees will be blamed if things do not work out.
Highly political environment, and this has gotten worse. No trust in the team as everyone is fiercely protecting their jobs
Performance management is a big joke, poor leaders keep joining the org in Asia ( look at the past year alone ) and the good ones have been asked to go.
