Pros

Like another reviewer says- free product, snacks, one flex day, most staff have a willingness and see potential.

Cons

Executive committee is a good ol boys group. Every dept is in silos, the finance dept and IT dept don’t have the knowledge or skill set to move initiatives forward. The sales and marketing teams after lay offs have maybe 10 people who actually can collaborate, but like the previous review said, you work your projects and proposals for hours and just get them turned or scrapped. Executives at the top are out of touch or not skilled in the industry or they simply don’t know who or what they want to be. The moral in many depts is awful. Frankly no one want to go to HR because they enable issues to continue. The layoffs weren’t successful at all. Structure is wrong, promotions to people who shouldn’t. If you want to stay in your lane and be minion-ized work here. Revenue is generated by how the leadership takes care of the business.

Hi there- Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback with us. It's been a tough year. We’ve eliminated a handful of positions and said goodbye to dear friends. This has been difficult and taken a toll on us all. We’re working diligently to build bridges, reduce silos, and include more people as we create our vision for the future. We hope you give us the chance to prove that our ethos is more than lip service. If you would like to discuss these challenges further, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at careers@asea.net.

Pros

ASEA has some of the best people I've ever seen in all the companies in my career in multiple levels of the company. The management team is very kind, and do their best. They care about the employees, and throw 2 fun company parties a year with a generous gift. ASEA also gives merit increases each year without fail, holiday cash, and when the company meets their goals, pays bonus.

Cons

The company seems to be behind on process flow, how decisions are made, who makes them, and what priorities are for each dept. Company-wide communication could be more timely.
