First, everyone need to know, AMTD Financial Planning equal AMTD Group, equal to any other “AMTD” entities. They are managed by the same peoples and people work in the same place. As the morale is very bad, business activity is low and management is poor, you have little work to do for most days and can get off early.
Cons
-first! Bonus did not come out when I left the firm in April/May! I hear many employees say they haven’t get bonus even now in July, for their work in 2018. I Think the company is trying to escape from this -very high turnovers. Peoples usually leave after about 1 year because the company treat people too bad. And the binding contract makes people able to leave only after 1 or 2 year. Otherwise turnover will be higher. - since reputation is so bad, many departments are having problems in hire people. Many people refuse to join - chairman/ceo (same) do not value feedbacks. Much things are going so wrong. Like reimbursements take months, bonus not paid, every little thing requires chairman approval and making peoples’ lives hard. A lot of problems but never being heard - Only cared about external image but never employees’ feelings and benefits - never trust the company’s management unless they put things down and get signed by chairman. Otherwise all promises are fake - as an ED I never get any authority to handle any small things. Can only always push chairman to approve things. Very bad life
