Pros
Good pay and clean place
Cons
This review is for the work place in Mt Prospect for future assemblers. If you want to work here you have to be willing to take a whole lot of rubbish. They don't train you properly. The work books are out-dated and unhelpful. You will be trained by one person and be told by the next person that you are doing it wrong. If you need help from the engineer, they ignore you. People on the test line don't give you the paper work review stating what you may have done wrong on the machine you build. They are supposed to show it to you and you are supposed to sign it. Anything you mess up on is not brought up to you, it goes straight to your supervisor. You are hardly consulted about anything. If you mess up you are out the door with a call from your temp service. You aren't given a chance. Let's not forget language barriers. There are a few people who can speak proper English. The test line workers communicate only with other full-time employees on YOUR machine to fix it if there is a problem. Don't ever go to HR for help either, they don't care about your issues. They favor they're full time employees so they can make the company more money. If you have an issue with a full time employee, you will be let go even if it's not your fault. OH and let's not forget that no one there does their job. You will assemble and do quality control for them and whatever else they don't feel like doing. They never update stock and you end up sitting there with your thumb up your buns waiting for 5 different parts at a time.
