Good entry level place to start and learn with little to no laboratory experience. Employees themselves are great people to learn from who will help teach you a few things if you ask, time permitting. Your ability to budget and manage personal finances should improve due to below average pay.
Cons
Pay increases not commensurate with increased productivity or skill. No promotion priority given to internal applicants. Cross-functional communication infrequent. Promotions not always based on performance or ability. Multiple hats worn by both employees and managers create conflicts of interest and an upward struggle to effectively manage.
