Pros
Free healthcare for employees and familly.
Cons
- Terrible safety record. Fall hazard, PIT hazard, No EAP or FPP, Slip Hazard, No pinch training, No annual reviews, Basically, Osha would have a field day here. - Lot of waste in production and lack of efficiency. Excessive waste due to sidebar conversations or bad production practices. Too much brown nosing and not enough work. Lack of proper equipment or tooling. Too many policies being broken and no one does anything about it. - Low morale. Folks there do the strict minimum. Supervisors, leads and foreman are absolutely pointless. - Insufficient pay and possibly labor law violations. When they give out raises, its in nickels and dimes. Then they have this Flex pay garbage. Flex pay is for waitresses in the restaurant business. Its meant to work in tandem with tips. Both hourly and salary have pros and cons. Such as the pros with hourly with OT pay and Salary with minimum pay. Flex has neither. You work 40hrs for a flat pay and any OT is less pay for the first 5 hours then a little more after 45 but nothing close to 1.5 pay rates like hourly OT. How is that legal? no idea. - Very bad disconnect between management and employees. Biggest excuse is language barrier and lack of participation from managers. In Addition, Managers talk way too much crap on company policies. Terrible example. Overall this company operates like the stone age. They do not value their employees, They do not pay well enough and the hazards are so numerous that someone is going to end up hurt or worse.
