Pros
sometimes there is a lot of overtime available. you don't work weekends. the shift differentials when i was there were very generous.
Cons
biggest con is the management. they micromanage everything and don't listen when you come to them with any issues or suggestions. they have their favorites. if they don't like you then you will know it and you'd better start looking for a new job because they will find things to nitpick and you will start to feel like you are in danger of losing your job (which you probably are at that point). i got a final written warning the first time i ever made a mistake, and it stayed on my record for several months. about a week later they decided that handing out final written warnings for the first offense was too harsh so they changed the rule but did not change my warning. i also saw a guy get fired for making a small mistake, and i know that the management hated him.
