Pros

- The amenities - gym, game area, cafeteria with great food - competitive salary - Mat leave pay for women

Cons

- Horrible management team - unsupportive, micromanagers that demand a lot while constricting resources - ie. Budgets, man power. You're setup to fail in this place. Most people I met while there were stressed out, miserable and didn't believe in their own self worth after such heavy demands and constant complaints were given. - Far too many women in leadership positions at this company trying to prove how powerful they are, obsessed with their interpretation of perfection and for some reason getting rewarded for this behaviour. A few bullies in the mix too. There are a lot fewer men in leadership roles here. The few I met had a much more relaxed approach and sense of humour. I suspect the people providing good reviews work for them.

Pros

Good benefits Great co-workers Fully remote Lots of fun employee events - got to meet a lot of cool folks at the company through it

Cons

Lots of different roles within the chain of command so different objectives are being passed down Sometimes hard to feel if you're making a difference

AIR MILES Response

Thank you for the positive feedback. Our Associates are at the heart of our strong company culture and are truly what makes AIR MILES such a great place to work! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the benefits and events offered to our Associates, as well as our remote-first working model. We appreciate your perspective on feeling as though your work makes a difference. We strongly believe that our people are our greatest asset and that the work done at all levels of the organization contributes to our success as a business. During our January Business Update, our Executive team shared our Strategic Imperatives for 2023 and the ways we will continue to scale as an organization to help Associates under the "big picture" and where their role fits in. We also recently introduced a new Goal Setting process to better align with our quarterly planning process, and to encourage more regular conversations about goals between Leaders and Associates. For Associates with questions regarding the impact of their role, we encourage you to speak to your leader or Manager Once Removed for guidance. Thanks again for your feedback, and all the best.
