Pros

Subsidized Cafeteria, Gym, Right on the subway

Cons

The culture of gossip, bad mouthing behind close doors, favoritism where incompetent people are still at work because of their connections. There is no sense of team as everyone is just trying to protect themselves and make sure the management knows they work hard, this results in backstabbing their colleagues, putting down each other on a daily basis, it feels like everyone leaves their integrity and basic human decency right at the door and then enters the company! If you love and want to code, do not join their Business Technology department, they have no experience and knowledge on how to develop a software, they just know how to throw their money out the door and hire these so-called Agile consultants who change processes every other day! This is a place where incompetent Product managers run the show!

Pros

Good benefits Great co-workers Fully remote Lots of fun employee events - got to meet a lot of cool folks at the company through it

Cons

Lots of different roles within the chain of command so different objectives are being passed down Sometimes hard to feel if you're making a difference

AIR MILES Response

Thank you for the positive feedback. Our Associates are at the heart of our strong company culture and are truly what makes AIR MILES such a great place to work! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the benefits and events offered to our Associates, as well as our remote-first working model. We appreciate your perspective on feeling as though your work makes a difference. We strongly believe that our people are our greatest asset and that the work done at all levels of the organization contributes to our success as a business. During our January Business Update, our Executive team shared our Strategic Imperatives for 2023 and the ways we will continue to scale as an organization to help Associates under the "big picture" and where their role fits in. We also recently introduced a new Goal Setting process to better align with our quarterly planning process, and to encourage more regular conversations about goals between Leaders and Associates. For Associates with questions regarding the impact of their role, we encourage you to speak to your leader or Manager Once Removed for guidance. Thanks again for your feedback, and all the best.
