Pros

The position provides valuable experience and exposure to multiple customer service functions.

Cons

Part-time employees perform the same core job functions and meet the same performance standards as full-time staff. The minimal wage growth, compensation, and time off do not keep pace with inflation or the benefits provided to full-time roles.

Pros

9% retirement match, 12 hour shift schedule

Cons

I could make a very long list of things I did not like about AES Ohio but in short, they were VERY anti change, even if it were for improvement. They did not like you typing unplanned switch orders and instead wanted them handwritten. Why? That is nonsensical. They had no motivation to qualify you. They were anti-checklist since "reference materials" could be used in court, presumably against AES Ohio. Worst of all, you were treated as if you knew absolutely nothing, if you weren't one of the "First 5."
