I worked in the ADT Call Center. The call center culture is that of a middle school. Filled with Drama Queens, Clicks, Teachers Pets, Bullies...the Entire Gamut! The team managers are glorified baby sitters. They treat ALL the employees as if they are children and with indifference and condescension. Professionalism is Severely lacking from management down. I was much older than most of the children they hire. Most hired are barely out of high school and in their first years of college. The level of professionalism from these child-adults is VERY low, so the management has very low standards of what is considered acceptable behavior. The policies regarding compensation are vague and ever changing :( Your base pay is minimum wage or a little higher, maybe $9/hourly. With that being the case you cannot afford for them to be messing around with your commissions and how they are earned and paid. ADT is constantly trying to increase their dollars and the productivity of the call center but the call center moral is HORRIBLE!!!! The only people I knew that liked working their were the teachers pets.....for obvious reasons.
