Pros
you work with the people at grass root and if you are the country director then you get to decide the direction that the organisation goes without interference.
Cons
no support from the regional and international arm in case of a problem. the country director rans the show and can either sink or make it. since he is elected by the church.. there is nothing you can do about it..
