Pros
Extremely nice people. Flexible schedule. Family-first culture. Senior leadership is very responsive and caring (I have no idea what these other posts are talking about). Owner is hands on, supportive, and makes a point to get to know you on a personal level. A lot of very passionate people. Projects have fairly large budgets. Timelines were rarely rushed. Salary was good. HR is very professional and does a great job helping you transition into the agency. Of course the normal agency stuff; beer, snacks, LOTS of food. Fun events to break up the week.
Cons
Benefits were very expensive. The family coverage was double what I paid at previous stops. This seems stupid but music, lights and temperature in office are all out of whack. It’s a open work space and they play music - it made it very hard to concentrate. The lights gave me migraines (and I wasn’t alone!). I don’t know if it was too bright or what. Lastly, conference rooms were freezing. I brought an extra jacket and kept it at my desk. Typical agency hiccups in process. Nothing too bad. There was a lot of focus on contracts and scope creep - more than I was used to.
