What a total scam this company is. I joined ACN in 2010 and quit within the first 60 days. I switched all my services over including my sister and parents to begin with. They have the worst customer service I have the worst customer service I have ever encountered with any company ever in my life, and products and are not competitive with most other providers. Working for ACN you will see immoral and deceptive business practices. My Experience as a Customer of ACN Once my sister changed her telephone and internet over to ACN the technical service man did shortcuts on the hook up and did it all wrong after my sister told him how she wanted it wired through out her place. She called ACN to have them come back because he was just lazy and did not give a dam at how my sister requested the wiring to be done. Guess what? They said it will cost her $150. for the technician to come back to change it. Also, her video phone was terrible quality. Absolutely poor audio and video reception. Any meeting you attend they will not stop emphasizing that the quality was CRYSTAL clear. What a joke. When I changed my internet and bought the video phone they made an appointment for a technician to come to my place on a certain day between 9am and 7pm. Guess what? he never showed up after I waited all day and they never called to tell me. I called them and guess what? they said I do not require a technician and would not send one out unless I PAID $150. Okay! so i set it up myself and GUESS WHAT? The the modem cable was 1 foot long. What a ****in joke. It cost me $30.00 to buy a cable that would fit properly in my apartment and I had to do the wiring myself. The video phone sucks and the internet modem is practically made out of paper. The lowest end of any cable modem you can buy. They also promised me I would have medium high speed internet. GUESS WHAT? it was the lowest internet speed you can buy. They LIED TO ME. My father changed his phone and internet over to ACN ( he also only received a 1 foot cable). He had so many problems with his internet connection the first month. We called the customer service over and over and over. After numerous phone calls we finally had it fixed but the connection problems continued after anyways. Oh! and every time we called their customer service it would have a message saying "DUE TO HIGH CALL VOLUME YOUR WAIT WILL BE MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. PLEASE CALL BACK AFTER 4PM" This happened every single time I called. Our entire family decided to cancel all the services paying out all the cancellation fees which cost us a total of about $1000.00 including the cost of that stupid video phone which is totally non-refundable and cannot be used by anyone else except the individual buyer of the phone. They make it so you cannot resell it to another user. My Experience as a Representative for ACN I first heard about ACN from a co worker. He could not shut up about this incredible business opportunity and I have to go to a meeting to see what it was all about.. He would not tell what it was or the company name and laughed it off with "you will not regret it, you have to come. You will make lots of money with this opportunity." This is how ACN representatives try to convince you to go to the meetings. They will not tell you what it is. You just have to come ands see for yourself. When I arrived at the house where it was being held I was very impressed. It was in an upscale neighborhood in my city and the house was easily over a million dollars in value. The interior of the house was was all modern with impressive furnishings. About 20 people showed up and we all had to wait at the front door until the so called Regional Vice President showed up. Looking back this was all a setup to impress all the people who came. This guy finally shows up and guess what? He is driving a 100K Mercedes and pulls up right in front of everyone to give the illusion of success. The meeting was just a BS raw raw session about their products and how you can make so much money with ACN. They showed all these empowerment videos of success with ACN. Then they would show a graph of their 7 levels of moving up in the company. How you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars when you reach the higher levels. It was amazing how they made it looks so simple and easy to do (i was skeptical from the beginning but my co worker pressured me so hard to go I said what the heck). What they do not tell you at first or at least until you give them $499. to join them is that you can not sell outside of your family or friends. You can not advertise in any way. If you are found guilty of trying to expand your business beyond these rules you will be terminated and lose any account you might have. ACN is a scam and you will lose your respect from people and friendships trying to sign them up. What ACN wants you to do as a representative first and foremost is to sign up as many people as possible to pay $499 to join them and all their services. INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ACN 1) You are not allowed to advertise or sell to anyone outside your family or friends. If you are caught doing this they will cancel your right to sell their products and take all your accounts away for themselves. Now, has anyone heard of a company that gives them the right to terminate your employment because you want to expand your business outside your family and friends and will not allow to to advertise in any way? 2) ACN has a website dedicated to try and convince the public that they are not a pyramid scheme. 3) If you type "ACN scam" in GOOGLE you will receive 464,000 results. 4) The ACN video phone was purchased from a company at a bargain price that i believe was either going out of business or realized that the video phone was going to be obsolete within a couple of years. Skype was free at the time and there are many other products out there that are a fraction of the cost or free now. SO IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN GOOD STANDING AND NOT BE LOOKED DOWN UPON BY THEM ONCE THEY REALIZE THIS IS THE CRAPPIEST PRODUCT OUT THERE THEN STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM ACN. I TRULY HOPE THERE A GOD BECAUSE THE OWNERS OF THIS COMPANY ARE GOING TO PAY IN THE END.
