Pros
Great advancement opportunities, paid CEUs, great work culture.
Cons
The workload for a M.S or BCBA level supervisor is absolutely insane. Work/life balance. What's that? It is non-stop. Forget about the fact that you are trying to help your client because you are so busy putting out fires, working on endless reports and a ridiculous amount of admin and clerical stuff. Almost every meeting there is a new "form" to be filled out, another procedure to do. And it's not like you are getting paid a lot of money. ACES is notorious for paying lower than other companies. And to top it all off, they treat their long term WONDERFUL BI's like crap. No recognition, you have to fight tooth and nail for a raise, you get the run around and are extremely underappreciated. The supervisors have such a large case load and are spread so thin. Instead of focusing on a much smaller caseload and providing quality services, the higher ups at ACES are only focused on the money. More new clients= more money. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. If they really cared about their clients, they wouldn't burn out their staff and end up providing half arsed services.
