Pros

People are warm and welcoming. Always willing to lend a hand. Direct management is good. Good benefits package. Most people really want to do a good job.

Cons

The company values have really changed. It’s no longer the Affinipay way. Now it’s all about the bottom line. Executive team hides behind the curtain and pops up occasionally with the standard corporate jargon and then drones on about how perfect everything is while the employees roll their eyes. CEO is definitely out of touch with her employees and with people in general. Elitist and trying to be cool. People see through it.

Thank you for the feedback. We strive to take all feedback and learn from it which is why we offer so many opportunities for our staff to communicate with us on how we can improve - whether it's anonymously through various staff surveys, via our suggestion box, or with our CEO roundtables. As you know, AffiniPay is a rapidly growing company and while our values have stayed consistent, we recognize that in order to continue our path of significant growth we must sometimes change our priorities to do what is best for the organization. We understand that AffiniPay looks/feels a bit different now, but are excited for this next chapter we will encounter as one team!

Pros

Good people and a collaborative team culture. The product serves a real market need in legal tech and fintech. Plenty of opportunity to wear multiple hats and grow your skills. I built a team from scratch and had real ownership over the web platform, which was rewarding.

Cons

Went through a major rebrand and several leadership changes that created uncertainty. Communication from senior leadership could be inconsistent during transitions. Growth paths were limited by the size of the org.
