Pros

Flexibility, a lot of the workforce really want to create a positive culture of inclusivity, ownership, and accountability

Cons

Employees are completely burned out, expectation is to work 60-80 hours a week and be on call constantly. They use the words "well-being" as a priority but the actions are the completely opposite. All driven by an incompetent group of executives who are unable to make decisions, choose areas of focus, set priorities, and lead. The CEO acts like a rabid toddler when he doesn't get his way, and everyone runs around scared of him and his reactions. The organization is completely exhausted trying to achieve business outcomes for executives who are over compensated for the quality of leadership.

Horrible Place to Work

Pros

I don't have a pro, I wish I never worked for Elanco.

Cons

The senior leadership are underqualified, untruthful, bullies. There are 3 types of employees at Elanco (1) those who have been lucky enough to get out, (2) those trying to get out and (3) those new employees who will soon realize they need to get out. This is a horrible place to work.

Very Disappointed

Pros

Work can be interesting & somewhat challenging at times - otherwise boring, routine, mundane.

Cons

After 50 years (including high school) in the work force, I’ve never been anywhere was I was treated more disrespectfully - not just once but repeatedly for 5 years. Routinely denied advancement / transfer opportunities regardless of education, knowledge & experience. Only way one advances is via departmental nepitism or by being considered as diversification. Being a middle aged white male is a hinderence.
