Training and support are very low priorities, the leadership has a very "pick yourself up by your bootstraps" attitude and believe that the hard way is the best way to learn. Managers are difficult to approach. Technicians are discouraged in the onboarding to talk about pay. They downplay how much of the controls engineer/technician role is answering phones. Hard to maintain work-life balance under the expectation of working on projects on your own time. Benefits are low quality in comparison to my past jobs.
