      You build better relations with the students than the staff.

      Cons

      Admin think of students as just another number or dollar sign. Admin doesn't do their job right and ends up blaming the teachers or other staff members.

      Great students Close with a handful of coworkers Pension and health insurance

      Cons

      High burnout rates among teachers. Many of these burnt out teachers have negative attitudes and the students suffer for it. Extremely high expectations from overly demanding parents. Upper administration does not provide enough support. Unrealistic workloads. No real consequences for misbehaving students. Rampant violence in the school among some students. We are not valued, supported, and paid enough for the amount of work we have to do.
