Bad place to work aside from getting your feet wet in a new field
Pros
Will hire people new to the industry (for lower than average salary)
Cons
EXOS has a serious issue with employee support, staffing, and compensation. In my experience, employees were expected to absorb extra responsibilities when staffing was thin, but there was no meaningful compensation, advancement, or support to match the added workload. Backfilling and hiring were delayed while the existing team was expected to keep carrying the work, which came across as a cost saving decision at employees’ expense. There were also situations where pay and money owed to employees did not feel like they were handled fairly or transparently. Strong performance and reliability were not rewarded. They were treated as reasons to keep assigning more work without meaningful support or compensation. They pretend to care about employees on paper, but their actions never actually support it.
