The consumer executive team is the root cause of the toxic culture. The environment is built around fear, blame, and competition rather than collaboration or support. There is a constant undercurrent of “who should we manage out next,” with conversations often focused on how to justify firing people rather than helping them grow. Management actively seeks negative feedback on employees, and there is little psychological safety. The mindset seems to be: "We can always hire someone better," rather than investing in the people already there. It’s demoralizing and draining.
